Open-Air Living at the Heart of the Yacht
The spacious cockpit forms the social centre of the FJORD 440 open. A generous dining area and an opening galley create a natural setting for relaxed lunches, evening drinks and long days spent together on the water.
One of the yacht’s most distinctive innovations is the electrically reversible aft bench. At the touch of a button, it transforms from conventional cockpit seating into a comfortable stern-facing lounge, opening uninterrupted views across the bathing platform and over the wake.
This simple transformation changes the way the aft section can be used. It creates a place to relax directly towards the sea, turning the cockpit from a dining and social area into a private waterfront lounge within moments.
Entertainment is integrated just as naturally. A 55-inch television lowers directly from the aerodynamically refined T-Top, bringing films, sports and live events into the open-air living space without compromising the clean deck design.
Powerful Inboard Performance
The FJORD 440 open is powered by twin Volvo Penta inboard engines. The standard configuration delivers a combined 680 hp, while the optional twin D6-480 setup increases the total output to 960 hp.
Immediate response, precise handling and effortless control give the yacht a dynamic character while supporting confident cruising in a wide range of conditions.
A Next-Generation Helm
The helm has been designed around clarity, comfort and control. Throttle, joystick and digital systems come together in one intuitive interface, while exclusive sculpted FJORD helm seats provide secure support during longer passages.
A six-camera system offers live views around the yacht, giving the driver greater confidence when manoeuvring and docking. The wider wrap-around windscreen provides additional protection while reinforcing the yacht’s commanding profile.
Direct Access to the Sea
The hydraulically operated bathing platform extends life on board directly to the water. It can be lowered for comfortable swimming access or used to launch a fully inflated Williams 280 Jet Tender, a SEABOB or other water toys.
An integrated telescoping ladder adjusts to the position of the platform, creating a safe and convenient connection between the cockpit and the sea.
A New Interior Direction with Design Unlimited
The interior of the FJORD 440 open was developed in collaboration with Design Unlimited, marking a significant step forward in the brand’s interior design language.
Refined materials, carefully considered surfaces and layered lighting create an atmosphere that feels warm, contemporary and distinctly premium. Generous hull windows fill the cabins with natural light, while the choice of colours, textures and details allows the interior to reflect the owner’s individual style.
Below deck, the yacht offers two comfortable cabins, including a full-beam midships cabin with a double bed, sofa and generous headroom. A separate head with an enclosed shower serves both cabins.
The central lower-deck area can be configured with either an integrated galley or an additional seating space, combining flexibility with a noticeably higher level of finish and visual refinement.
